For those who do not feel tired from playing in numerous WSOP tournaments and for those who could not make it to Las Vegas on time for the series but are desperate to play some tournament poker, Casino News Daily has prepared a list of upcoming major tournaments. Here is more about these and where and when they are slated to take place.
PokerStars Festival Lille
No-Limit Hold’em events dominate the schedule of the upcoming poker festival, but there will also be a €330 Pot-Limit Omaha event for fans of that particular game. It is scheduled for Thursday, July 19.
Thursday will also see the start of the €1,100 Main Event. The tournament will feature three starting flights played over two days and two more days of action. A €2,200 buy-in High Roller is slated to begin on July 21. The tournament will be completed over two days.
WPT Gardens Poker Festival
The $5,000 Main Event is scheduled for July 21-26. To add more thrill at the tables, the WPT has announced that the tournament will feature an action clock. Aside from the first-place cash, which is yet to be determined, participants will also contend for the champion’s trophy and an SLC Roadster.
Poker action at the host casino will also include a $25,000 buy-in high roller tournament. The event will take place on July 24-25. It will too feature an action clock.
HPT – Kansas City
The festival kicks off July 19 and will run through July 30. Its schedule includes 12 different tournaments and satellites offering seats into those. Buy-ins for the tournament will be starting from just under $90.
The Main Event is slated to start on July 27 with the first of two starting flights. There will be two more days of play. The final day of the tournament will thus be on July 30, when its official final table will be played. Interested players will have to pay a buy-in fee of $1,650, unless they secure a seat into the event through one of the satellites.
BSOP – Sao Paulo
The festival’s schedule features 21 events, with buy-ins for those starting from R$460. A three-day R$7,000 No-Limit Hold’em will be the most expensive tournament players would be able to enter as part of BSOP poker action at the host venue.
The highlight tournament – the R$2,600 Main Event – will begin on July 20 with the first of three starting flights. The event will run through July 24 when the final table will be played.
